Whether you're a frequent eBay seller or need a last-minute birthday gift sent, you'll often need to ship a package quickly.
Finding the closest FedEx location is essential.
Knowing where each location is and what to do when you arrive is key.
Fortunately, 2,200 FedEx office locations, 1,950 FedEx Express stations, and over 600 FedEx Ground facilities exist.

FedEx Pickup Options
FedEx offers various pickup options, and many of the frequently asked questions on FedEx.com are related to these options.
- Will FedEx come to my house for a pickup?
- How can I schedule a pickup with FedEx?
- Is it possible to arrange recurring pickups for my business?
In this part, I guide you through the process of setting up a FedEx pickup.
Arrange a Single Pickup Online
When it comes to scheduling a one-time pickup with FedEx online, you have several choices.
You can alternatively use the FedEx mobile app (though the following instructions concentrate on the online method).
Generate a Label Using the FedEx Ship Manager
Step 1: Create an account or log into an existing one.
Step 2: Generate your shipping label. You can access this feature via the main navigation bar on FedEx.com under Shipping > Create a Shipment and log in there.
Provide your details like name, email address, phone number, and address. Additionally, input the shipping destination and receiver information.
Step 3: Proceed to place your pickup request, locate a suitable pickup location, and schedule your pickup via the Pickup/Dropoff option displayed on the right-hand panel.
Step 4: At this stage, you can either schedule a pickup or opt to drop off packages at a FedEx location. When scheduling a pickup, you'll be prompted to specify if there's a regular pickup date and time or if a delivery driver should be dispatched to the pickup location.
That's it!
Schedule a Pickup Without Generating a Label
Step 1: Visit the FedEx pickup options page to schedule and oversee pickups, or navigate to FedEx.com and select Shipping > Schedule & Manage Pickups.
Step 2: Upon logging in, you'll land on the Pickup screen. Input your pickup address and phone number, and choose the type of pickup service required.
Step 3: Finalize the pickup by selecting "Schedule pickup."
Arrange Regular FedEx Pickups
You can establish recurring pickups with FedEx, which is beneficial for:
- Diplomatic posts
- Financial institutions
- Large businesses with multiple locations
- High-volume shippers
- And others
To schedule a recurring pickup, utilize the "Recurring FedEx Pickup" option.
Explore a section that outlines the options for recurring deliveries and the advantages of this service. According to FedEx, it presents a time-saving option compared to frequently dropping off shipments or arranging individual pickup requests.
The website further clarifies that both FedEx Express and FedEx Ground Automated Pickup provide a customizable solution. It enables you to conveniently schedule pickups as required. FedEx also waives the pickup fee for weeks without any pickups.
To arrange either of these services, get in touch with your FedEx account executive or dial customer service at 1-800-GoFedEx.
Using FedEx Drop Boxes
FedEx drop boxes provide a simple, convenient, and contactless method for depositing your packages.
Remember that the maximum package size for drop boxes is 20” x 12” x 6”.
To use a FedEx drop box:
- Prepare your items for shipping using either your own packaging or FedEx-provided packaging (free envelopes are typically available at the top of the drop box). Ensure your package does not exceed the maximum size limit.
- Generate your label online and affix it securely to your package.
- Deposit your pre-labeled package into a nearby drop box. Find a drop box near your location.
- Access frequently asked questions and track the door tag number for the packages you've placed in the drop box.
