eLogii vs Track-POD: Key Differences Explained

The Track-POD alternative for enterprise field service and distribution. Track-POD is a delivery management platform with route planning, ePOD, driver app, customer notifications and tracking, sized for SMB to mid-market operations with per-driver pricing. eLogii is purpose-built as the advanced optimization layer for enterprise field service and distribution: five distinct optimization modes, multi-day and long-haul routing, recurring routes, multi-depot planning, rule-based re-optimization, a 50+-endpoint REST API and full-parity sandbox that slots into whichever FSM, ERP and telematics you already run. From $3,000 per month. Different operation shapes.

Route optimization and scheduling

Both engines optimize routes. The architectural difference is the breadth of planning shapes each engine accepts.

Track-POD’s routing

Track-POD’s route planning is tuned for single-depot, day-by-day delivery operations with time windows and basic driver constraints. The product UX is clean and the planning experience is good for SMB and mid-market courier and distribution teams whose problem is "plan today, run today, capture POD, report."

eLogii’s routing

eLogii’s optimization engine is exposed across five distinct modes: a single data set, one or more specific dates, existing routes (re-optimization), a date range, and recurring patterns with varying intervals. Optimization considers skills, capabilities, vehicle capacity, SLA windows, business rules and time constraints simultaneously, with configurable objectives.

For field service in particular, eLogii models recurring cadences natively via routes, task template groups and route template groups. Planned preventative maintenance, weekly compliance visits, monthly grocery routes, biweekly pest treatments are dedicated entities, not workarounds layered on top of a delivery model.

When the field workflow is more than a POD wrapper

Track-POD is named for what it does best. eLogii's guided workflows and digital forms handle the steps before and after the POD itself.

  • Sequential task stages with mandatory fields. Define the exact order of operations on site. Steps can't be skipped, mandatory fields can't be bypassed, and the dashboard sees where each stage is in real time.
  • Conditional form logic. Show different questions based on customer type, treatment, prior visit results or earlier answers in the same form. One compliance checklist that varies for high-risk sites instead of two checklists to keep in sync.
  • Rules-driven follow-up actions. Field data triggers follow-up jobs automatically. Equipment marked condemned creates a replacement task. A failed inspection creates a reattempt and notifies the customer. A pest reading above threshold opens a treatment job for the next visit.
  • Custom failure reasons with mandatory evidence. Failure codes can require a photo or comment before the job closes. Failure data feeds analytics and is queryable via the API.
  • Three outcomes beyond pass/fail. "Complete with problem" closes the job and documents the issue. "Partial completion" records which items succeeded and which failed. Drivers don't have to falsify a clean close to keep the route moving.
  • Driver ratings. Customers rate the visit on the tracking link. Ratings aggregate per technician and export via CSV or API.
  • 20+ form field types including text, number, dropdown, checkbox, date, photo, file upload, star rating, slider, range slider, email and regex. Forms work offline and sync when the device reconnects.
  • Workflow analytics. Average time per step, skip rates, error patterns, completion data. Exportable to BI tools and feeds straight back into operational improvement.

For "driver delivered the box, here's the photo and signature" work Track-POD is fine. For pest treatments, debt-recovery visits, regulated inspections, multi-step installations or anything else where what happened on site matters beyond the delivery confirmation, this is what's missing.

Proof of delivery and customer experience

This is the section where Track-POD legitimately shines. POD is what the product is built around: configurable photo, signature, barcode, custom POD fields per delivery type, customer-facing PDFs. If your need is "capture great POD inside a simple delivery flow," Track-POD does that well.

eLogii covers all of the above and adds patterns that matter once the operating model goes beyond delivery POD:

  • Multi-brand tracking pages. If you operate multiple brands or run a 3PL for several clients, each consignor’s customer sees their brand, not yours.
  • Context-aware notifications. Different message templates by job type, customer segment, language, or operational context.
  • Self-service rescheduling. Customers rebook into operationally-optimal slots, not arbitrary ones. A co-piloted booking experience proposes only slots that don’t break the route.

API, integrations and developer experience

Both vendors expose REST APIs with JSON, webhooks and SDKs. Track-POD’s API is solid and well-documented for the SMB-to-mid-market delivery management use case. eLogii’s API is broader and exposes the planning surface directly.

Where eLogii’s API differentiates

  • 50+ REST endpoints across Tasks, Routes, Drivers, Vehicles, Depots, Customers, Zones, Forms, Schedules and Optimization. Full reference.
  • Bulk operations. Endpoints like POST /tasks/createOrUpdateMany handle hundreds of tasks per call, built for high-volume ingest from ERP, FSM and order-entry systems.
  • Optimization callable via the API, across 5 distinct modes. Plus planner controls: lock specific routes, manually reorder stops.
  • 7 webhook event types, including Driver/Task Tracking Update with live GPS stream and Route ETAs Update. No polling, no cron jobs, no stale data.
  • Sandbox environment with full API parity at api-sandbox.elogii.com.
  • Custom fields end-to-end through driver app, webhooks and reporting.
  • Dedicated entities for the operating model. Vehicles distinct from Drivers, Driver-schedule-exceptions, Route-template-groups, Task-template-groups, Forms and Form Submissions.
  • Pre-built connectors to Simpro and Samsara, plus SAP, Oracle NetSuite, MS Dynamics 365, Sage, Acumatica, IFS, Infor, ServiceTitan, Salesforce Field Service, ServiceMax, ServiceNow, Joblogic and others via the REST API.

Track-POD API

  • REST API with core endpoints for orders, drivers, vehicles, routes, POD and webhooks.
  • Webhooks for delivery lifecycle events.
  • Designed primarily for single-depot, per-driver-tier customers.

Pricing

Track-POD publishes per-driver tiers; eLogii publishes a platform fee that is operationally banded.

Track-POD pricing (2026)

Premium~$69per driver/monthAdvanced routing, full API, multi-depot · comparable tier

eLogii pricing

eLogii pricing starts from $3,000/month and is a platform fee, operationally banded by field staff, drivers, jobs per day and the modules required. Each band includes a quota; cost steps up when the operation crosses a band, not when you add an individual seat. Customers typically report 3–4× return on investment within 6 months.

How the math works in practice

  • Under 30 drivers: Track-POD is cheaper. At Standard tier (~$29/driver), 30 drivers is roughly $870/month against eLogii’s $3,000 starting.
  • Around 50 drivers (Premium tier): Crossover, with eLogii usually slightly cheaper. 50 × $69 = $3,450/month on Track-POD Premium, against eLogii from $3,000 plus broader capability.
  • 100 drivers on Premium: ~$6,900/month on Track-POD. eLogii at this scale typically lands lower per-job because pricing steps across bands rather than tracking every seat linearly.
  • 500+ drivers: Per-driver pricing grows linearly; banded platform pricing grows in steps. The curve shape is materially different in eLogii’s favor.
  • Beyond raw cost: recurring routes as dedicated entities, multi-depot routing, BI export, ISO 27001 / SOC 2 Type 2 are eLogii capabilities Track-POD doesn’t fully match at any tier.

Frequently asked questions

Is eLogii an alternative to Track-POD?

Yes. Both platforms cover the core delivery management surface, including route planning, ePOD, driver app, customer notifications and tracking. Track-POD is sized for SMB to mid-market operations with per-driver pricing. eLogii is purpose-built as the advanced optimization layer for enterprise field service and distribution at 50 to thousands in the field, with five distinct optimization modes, multi-day and long-haul routing, recurring routes, multi-depot planning, rule-based re-optimization, and a 50+-endpoint REST API that slots into whichever FSM, ERP and telematics you already run.

What’s the main difference between eLogii and Track-POD?

Track-POD’s strength is exactly what its name says: a polished proof-of-delivery experience inside a clean, simple delivery management product priced per driver. eLogii is a broader platform for field operations across field service and distribution, (inspections, compliance, risk assessments), recurring jobs as dedicated entities, skills and certifications matching, multi-depot and multi-country routing, and a much wider API surface (50+ endpoints with bulk operations and a sandbox with full parity).

How does pricing compare?

Track-POD publishes per-driver pricing (Standard around $29 per driver per month, Advanced around $49, Premium around $69, annual). eLogii is a platform fee, operationally banded by field staff, drivers, jobs and modules, starting from $3,000 per month. The crossover in practice: at around 50 drivers on Track-POD Premium (50 × $69 = $3,450/month), eLogii is the cheaper option for comparable scope, plus you get deeper field service capabilities. Below 30 drivers, Track-POD is cheaper.

Can eLogii replace Track-POD?

Yes. eLogii covers every core Track-POD capability (route optimization, driver app, real-time tracking, customer notifications, branded tracking pages, configurable POD, REST API, webhooks) and adds dynamic scheduling, multi-day and recurring optimization, skills-based assignment, multi-depot routing and full data export to BI tools. Most teams switch in 3 to 5 weeks.

Which is better for field service?

eLogii. Field service is a primary use case for eLogii: planned preventative maintenance, recurring visits on configurable cadences, skills and certifications matching, SLA windows, and dynamic re-optimization with rule-based planner controls. Track-POD covers the core delivery management surface but its primary design target is SMB to mid-market delivery, not enterprise field service workflows.
